By combining volunteer support, maker spaces, and 3D printing, we transform children's ideas into meaningful, tangible creations.
When a child is in the hospital, their daily life can feel different. Routines may change, and things can feel uncertain or unexpected. Project Ray can help children feel more in control by letting children choose what fun looks like for them.
Children can let their imagination run wild and share their ideas by talking, drawing, or playing with modeling dough. Then, we work with local makers in Boston to turn those ideas into real toys. Using tools like 3D printers, we can make many kinds of toys quickly and at a low cost.
